Jermaine Graham

Jermaine Graham

Jermaine was born in Annotto Bay, St. Mary, Jamaica. After moving to Hartford, Connecticut at the age of 9, he attended Bloomfield High school. Jermaine then pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut, studying Sociology with a minor in Human Rights. After graduating, Jermaine began working at the YMCA of greater Hartford. There he was a Youth Program Coordinator, designing after school programming for students, while fostering community relationships for the betterment of the students he served. Following his time at the YMCA, Jermaine joined ASA and subsequently TRIO in December of 2014, when he became the Education Advisor for the Brockton based Upward Bound Program. In his role Jermaine acts as an academic and college counselor for 50+ students, while also building relationships with program participants, parents, and school personnel to help his students better navigate the college going process.
