What We Do

Personal guidance and encouragement can have a profound impact on a student’s life. So, we provide in-person support for Massachusetts high school students, parents, and adults planning to attend college, searching and applying for scholarships and financial aid, and looking to achieve their dream of receiving a degree.

Our in-school programs cater to middle and high school students and parents during and after school, offering tutoring, peer mentoring, college visits, and career and college workshops.

GEAR UP

A national initiative designed to support and develop the needs, dreams, and higher-education aspirations of low-income students.

Talent Search

A program that helps talented, driven high school students and families reach their potential and find success at a higher level.

Upward Bound

Summer and afterschool tutoring and mentoring that helps Brockton High School students develop the skills to receive a college degree.

Want American Student Assistance® (ASA) to Provide College Planning Services to Your Organization or Nonprofit?

Our staff works on site at organizations and college fairs, providing guidance on getting into and paying for college, as well as pursuing career-building opportunities. This service is available free to all nonprofit community agencies.
