ASA Direct for Lenders and Servicers

Welcome to ASA Direct®, American Student Assistance’s online loan management tool. As a lender/servicer, ASA Direct allows you to:

  • Supply credit check information for Parent PLUS and Grad PLUS borrowers.
  • Review specific borrower details and loan information.
  • View daily funding activity to assist in reconciliation.
  • Run reports to help your organization manage loan activity.

ASA Direct is normally available:
Mon–Sat: 4:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. ET
Sun: 4:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. ET

Cookies

The browser must be capable of supporting cookies, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), and HTML 3.2. Internet Explorer supports these features by default. To ensure that SSL is properly configured, go to “Tools – Options – Advanced” and enable these features.

Pop-up Blockers

Pop-up blockers must be relaxed in order to utilize certain features and functions within ASA Direct. It is safe to allow pop-up windows from the www.asa.org domain.

Other Programs

Your use of ASA Direct may also require the installation of the Adobe® Acrobat Reader® software (for PDF files) and either Microsoft® Excel or the Microsoft Excel viewer application (for custom reports generated in .xls file format).
